Contrary to the past, social work today is considered a fulltime profession in which a social worker does not only work as a volunteer but can also be employed and make a living through it. It is a sort of profession in which a person can use his or her ability, knowledge, and available resources to make other people’s living easier and better. Social work profession has thus grown and developed to become a full arm of service that touches the lives of different people in different ways. Social work can be at a personal level as well as at an institutional level depending on the aspect of reach out used.
