Work-life conflict is a concept that has elicited curiosity among practitioners and researchers in the recent wake of human resource issues. The main work-life conflict issue affecting most employees is balancing between family life and job. The social life aspect tends to override in this case as professionals find it demanding to balance between their private life and their careers (Dorenkamp, 2017). Occasionally, most organizations have had to suffer from such situations as employee productivity is highly compromised. Therefore, there is a direct correlation between job performance and employee commitment that is directly triggered by work-life conflict.
