Training at T&T is influenced by several internal and external factors. The major internal factors are business structure, strategic choices, business capabilities while the external factors include skills demand, geographical locations of the MT centres, market trends.  T&T has adopted a complex business structure with many employees working in various centres.  Operations are managed from USA and India as the main regions (Malik 3). This leads to the complexity of the operations making training operations complex as well. The complexity within the business structure makes difficult to effectively plan and execute training programs at the lowest cost possible.
