Development of leaders is largely correlative to a series of chronological stages are invariant and universal. The sequential stages of this universal model of leadership include ‘egocentric, reactive, creative, integral, and unitive’. Egocentric involves a level where a leader identifies only his or her needs and the ability to meeting them; reactive is a stage where leaders identify and attain the ability to hold onto both their own needs and feelings or needs of others; and creative is a stage in which changes efforts become centric to creative culture.
