Traditional Chinese Medicine is a common type of conventional medicine used in Asia and it is highly used in almost all Asian societal groups. Patients hold different perceptions and attitudes on Traditional Chinese Medicine. The health-seeking behaviour and utilization of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), including herbal medicine has received significant attention in the research, contributing to its popularity in the global societies (Cai, Mao, Xu, & Wu, 2015). Traditional Chinese Medicine also attained the endorsement of World Health Organisation (Tilburt, 2008), as an alternative medicine.
