The term verification and validation requirement are commonly used together but they are different types of analysis.  The definition of validation is apprehensive of checking systems that meets consumer’s actual needs. On the other hand verification is concerned on how a system is well engineered and error free (Dasso, & Funes, 2007). In addition verification dose not ensure if the system is useful or not.  The differences between these terms are based on the role of their specifications. Validation deals with the process of checking if specification captures consumer needs while verification deals with the process of checking if the software meets specification.
