What Are Wage Gains

Over the years, the measure of the average wage data has been a problem. This is a result of unreliable data both from the companies and the workers. For example, the report released in January showed the average earnings per hour had increased by 2.9% but the later report showed that the growth was actually becoming weaker compared to the previous years. The release of mixed-up data has made it hard to determine exactly how the wages are run. It has become hard to determine whether the wages are growing drastically, decreasing, or are static.
