Answer preview

For businesses to protect the employees against sexual harassment and gender discrimination there must be a clear guidance for appropriate behaviors by both the management and the employees. A clear guidance will permit the employees and the management to understand what the business expects them to behave in the workplace (Ghumman et al, 2013). In addition to this, businesses can protect employees against sexual harassment and gender discrimination by voicing clear expectations that sexual harassment and gender discrimination are serious offences and they are violations of the business standards. It is also critical for businesses to have specific and serious effects that will be expected if any employee is found having violated proper standards. For example, a business organization might clearly state that violation of proper behaviors will lead to direct termination of the employment for the employee found guilty.
