Why I will not Donate my Body to Science by Creley is a poem that aptly captures the challenges facing the millennial generation.
Creley has in this poem indeed demonstrated the feelings of inadequacy and ill-preparedness.
The persona in the poem is contemplating the implications of his bones being part of the skeletons used by students to study science.
The persona is concerned that his remains would not measure up and like the old skeleton they are using which is falling apart, his bones if they were part of a skeleton used in the lab would, unfortunately, form the weak links.
