As part of an industrial revolution, automation and use of machines have replaced close to 70 % of the human workforce in America. The revolution has been facilitated by the invention of robots that are capable of performing essential functions only by following instructions (Kelly, 2). In an article that was published in 2012 by Kevin Kelly and titled “Better than Human: Why Robots Will- and Must-Take Our Jobs,” the author delineates various reasons he perceives support work takeover by the machines. However, in some instances, the article fails to be persuasive or consistent with the author’s arguments.
