erliog Hardware Description Language (HDL) for singlecharacter output to 7SD.

Using Verilog HDL, design a system to be implemented on a Basys3 that can detect, decode and display a character input from anexternal USB keyboard.

Requirements

– pressing of a key on the keyboard causes the leftmost panel ofthe 7SD to show the character that has been pressed. The systemmust be able to recognise and display at least the followingletters:

o Vowels (A E I O U);

o Consonants (b C d F G H L n P r S t)

– Pressing a subsequent key on the keyboard causes for thedisplayed character to be replaced
